A native of the San Fernando valley, Carlie began her musical journey as a means of self-preservation. After a deep family tragedy upended her world, Carlie began taking solace in the ease of anonymity of being in LA. Her ritual became writing songs alone in her room, then dressing up in a wig and dress and performing her songs to audiences throughout greater Los Angeles. She now lives in SF.
